Circa Circa to Launch Travel Edition of About Time

In the great tradition of classic family board games, Circa Circa Ltd is launching a travel edition of About Time, their acclaimed historical trivia board game.

About Time Travel Edition has all the elements that make About Time such an addictive and attractive board game, but with a simpler, boardless playing mechanism, shorter playing time and new picture cards to bring an exciting visual element to the games play.

AT Travel Edition will be priced firmly in the range for spontaneous buys and is aimed squarely at the holiday and summer markets. Its compact box is ideal for retail display in airport and train stations, as well as high street retail.

About Time Travel Edition has been more than a year in development and testing. Circa Circa are releasing it in several versions including Wonders of the World and World Cup.

Circa Circa also aims to release licensed versions with tailored picture content. “We have talked to several potential partners in the media and heritage sector and there is a lot of interest in the potential of AT Travel Edition to bring the nation’s great archives to life in an entertaining and educative game format,” said Circa Circa chief executive Matt Gould. “We are very confident that the attractive price point, packaging and content will be a winner with consumers, retailers and licensees alike.”
